Pastor Venessa Barrett has been saved since the tender age of 12yrs old. She has served Christ earnestly since then serving in several capacities, and has been an active member of the church. She has worked with the Sunday school department, has  been a church secretary, choir director, and member of the praise team, and was ordained as a missionary in Bushy Park Pentecostal church in 2012. Pastor Venessa started preaching and exhorting the word of God at the age of 14 yrs old. 

 

Pastor Venessa knew Christ had more for her, so in December 2018 she was led to create a women’s group called ‘Lovely Ladies Loving Life’ which is now a non-profit organization called Women Igniting Fire. Through this she has shared with ladies internationally and has motivated them towards achieving their goals. She has provided spiritual guidance for women in need and has led a ‘Goal sister’ initiative helping ladies to achieve their goals.

Pastor Venessa is a powerhouse speaker, who preaches and teaches under the anointing. She has been blessed with the gifts of discernment, helps, preaching, teaching and prophesying.

Pastor Venessa has been an educator since 2006 and is a doctoral student working on earning an Ed.D in Leadership, she holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from American College of Education with principal licensure. (4.0 GPA), a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of The West Indies (Magna Cum Laude), and an Associate Degree in Education from The Mico University College majoring in English. She is an entrepreneur, an author of a women’s journal ‘Reflect and Renew’ available on Amazon. She is committed to serving Christ in spirit and in truth while spreading the gospel.
